BROKEN KIDS MAKE TAPES

"Broken Kids Make Tapes" is the title of our upcoming 4 part art project. The project is a story told through different forms of art; music, photography, film and fashion. In detail, it'll feature an EP, a photo-series, a mini-documentary and a fashion collection, all of which will be of the same title. The story told by the project is as follows:

When something is broken, sometimes it's put back together with tape right? So this is a story about "Broken Kids" making "tapes" trying to fix their broken souls. "Sounds a bit dark." you're probably thinking, well it's not. The "tapes" in the context of the story are represented by art especially music in play as a mix(tape). Being "Broken" in this context refers to the feeling of being out of place and desperate to chase a dream or two, the feeling of "I won't be happy doing anything else," and finally the fear of getting up and chasing that dream. So another translation of the title can be "Dream Chasers Chase Dreams" or "Dreamers Don't Sleep" but that's way to cliché to make the title.
