"Broken Kids Make Tapes" is the title of our upcoming 4 part art project. The project is a story told through different forms of art; music, photography, film and fashion. In detail, it'll feature an EP, a photo-series, a mini-documentary and a fashion collection, all of which will be of the same title. The story told by the project is as follows: When something is broken, sometimes it's put back together with tape right? So this is a story about "Broken Kids" making "tapes" trying to fix their broken souls. "Sounds a bit dark." you're probably thinking, well it's not. The "tapes" in the context of the story are represented by art especially music in play as a mix(tape). Being "Broken" in this context refers to the feeling of being out of place and desperate to chase a dream or two, the feeling of "I won't be happy doing anything else," and finally the fear of getting up and chasing tha...
